Jayeshbhai (Ranveer) lives in a village where boys are superior to girls. Moreover, his father is the sarpanch of this village. Thus, Jayeshbhai’s parents go and check if the couple is going to have a baby girl or a baby boy. Co-incidentally, Jayeshbhai gets to know that he is going to be father to a baby girl. Knowing how his father (played by Boman Irani) and mother (Ratna Pathak Shah) would react, Jayeshbhai flees his home with his wife and daughter. He wants to keep the baby girl. However, will he succeed in doing so?
