Jayeshbhai Jordaar: Trailer of the Ranveer Singh starrer to be out on April 19?

April seems to be an exciting month for movies. With KGF - Chapter 2 finally releasing and proving to be a huge success, the audience is even more excited for the other releases this month, which include Shahid Kapoor's Jersey, Tiger Shroff's Heropanti 2, Ajay Devgn's Runway 34, and Yash Raj Films’ most awaited movie, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, featuring Ranveer Singh.

Directed by debutant Divyang Thakkar, the film features Shalini Pandey of Arjun Reddy fame as the female lead, opposite Ranveer Singh. It also features Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah Deeksha Joshi in supporting roles. The film will premiere on May 13. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the trailer for Jayeshbhai Jordaar will be released on Tuesday, April 19. The promotional activities will start as soon as the promo is released. Almost all of Ranveer Singh's interviews have him gushing about the teaser. The comedy and social message in the film were judged to be well-balanced. The film also seems to appeal to a wide range of viewers. The trade analysts also believe the film will do well at box office on its release in theatres.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar has been causing a stir in the media for a number of reasons. The film will kick-off the YRF 50 celebrations, which mark Yash Raj Films' 50th anniversary. Aditya Chopra, the producer, also intends to create a Hindi and English comic series centred on Ranveer Singh's character. It will reportedly have Singh play the role of a superhero. It was earlier reported that Ranveer will be playing the role of a feeble frail Gujarati man who receives superhero powers over night, like Tovino Thomas in the Malayalam movie, Minnal Murali.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar wrapped its filming in February 2020, and the film was set to release on October 2, 2020. The release was delayed and postponed to August 27, 2021, and then to February 25, 2022, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But now, the makers have confirmed the release of the film on May 13.
