Set in 1971 against the backdrop of the Bangladesh Liberation War and the refugee crisis in Calcutta, the story centres on Jimmy Roy, an enigmatic nightclub owner who becomes entangled in covert operations. 

His jazz club becomes a smoky sanctuary, where artists, revolutionaries, and spies quietly gather. As tensions rise, the series explores issues of identity, loyalty, and the political awakening of creatives, with the club emerging as a vital centre of resistance against oppression.
