Amazon's Jee Karda, a romantic drama, will have its world premiere on Prime Video on June 15. Seven friends from their youth find that adulthood is very different from their childhood fantasies in this comedy series. Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, Suhail Nayyar, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee, and Samvedna Suwalka star as the friends, and Simone Singh and Malhar Thakar play important supporting roles in this uplifting and edgy series.

Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal co-wrote the eight-episode series with Arunima Sharma, and Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films produced it.

Jee Karda follows the lives of seven friends from childhood who, at the age of 30, had planned to finally get their act together. However, after they hit 30, they realise it's actually a huge mess. Through it all, they learn that even the best friendships and relationships are flawed and that life is a beautiful shade of grey. They live, love, laugh, make mistakes, and experience heartbreak together.

Aparna Purohit, head of India Originals at Prime Video, said that Jee Karda is a heartwarming story about love, heartbreak, dating, family dynamics, and above all, the unbreakable bond of friendship that often carries us through the vicissitudes of daily life. Prime Video's continued efforts to produce shows like Jee Karda—which are genuine, interesting, and fun—are part of the company's larger mission. Their work together with Maddock Films has been really fruitful.

Maddock Films' Dinesh Vijan said that Jee Karda is their first collaboration with Prime Video, and there's no better way to launch their creative adventure. The characters and their relationships are the focus of this story's touching narrative. The story and its cast were designed to appeal to a diverse audience. On June 15, they will be presenting their show to the public for the first time, and he cannot wait.
