Jee Le Zaraa: Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif delayed? Here's what we know

The dream road trip film Jee Le Zaraa, starring Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, which was announced as the female answer to cult classic Dil Chahta Hai, has now been delayed, accroding to a news report by Bollywood Life.

According to the website, although there has not been any major movement around the film, it is still going to be made but not in the near future. The reason, as Bollywood Life exclusively reports, is all three women embracing motherhood. 

A source of the webite told them that the makers want to give space to mommy-to-be Alia Bhatt as well as new mother Priyanka Chopra. 

"Right now due to the personal developments in Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt's life, the makers want to give the actresses their much-needed space and start shooting only when they are comfortable to begin the shooting. Alia is right now expecting her first child with Ranbir Kapoor, one cannot expect her to shoot this road trip film during her pregnancy, which speaks that the film is going to get delayed. While Priyanka who welcomed her daughter Maltie Chopra Jonas just six months ago is happily spending her time with her daughter and is ready to hit the screen when her leading ladies will," the source was quoted as saying.

Katrina Kaif, too, has been making headlines about being pregnant since her marriage to Vicky Kaushal. The couple, however, is tight-lipped about it. Katrina is nearly done with Tiger 3 co-starring Salman Khan and has also started promoting her next Phone Bhoot alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar. She is also set to appear on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan 7 with her Phone Bhoot co-stars. 

Directed by Farhan Akhtar, who has also made Dil Chahta Hai, Jee Le Zaraa is expected to be a fun ride with the A-List actresses.
