Jerry out on OTT: Here's where to stream Kottayam Nazeer-starrer family drama online

Malayalam film Jerry has begun streaming online a year after its theatrical release in 2024. The movie is now accessible on Manorama Max and Simply South.

The movie, which debuted in theatres in February of last year, is now available on Manorama Max as well as Simply South. Though the makers had not revealed an exact date of OTT release, it began streaming on these platforms from 12 am on May 30. Shine Tom Chacko and Sreenath Bhasi's Dance Party is also now accessible on the same platform. Anu Mohan-starrer UK-based thriller Big Ben began streaming on Sun NXT and OTTplay Premium on the same date. 

The plot of Jerry centres on two families that are caught up in a mischievous mouse's antics, which results in nonstop chaos and laughter. Both the plot and the nuanced performances of the family entertainment were favourably liked by many. It left a lasting impression on the audience even though it came out at the same time as the highly anticipated movies- Anweshippin Kandethum and Premalu.

Jerry, a good family entertainer

In addition to showing the silly problems a rat makes and how everyone gets caught up in the chase, this film takes viewers on a humorous adventure. Another source of inspiration for the rat's name is a character from the well-known cartoon series Tom and Jerry.

Pramod Velliyanad, Kottayam Nazeer, Anil Shivaram, and Kumar Sethu are the film's key actors. Many people loved Kottayam Nazeer's recent performances in films like Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys and Thalavan. In the meantime, Kumar Sethu has acted in other films, including Narivetta and Saudi Vellakka. In this Anish Uday-directed movie, Sunny Joseph, Abinn Paul, and Rooth P John have supporting parts. Najil C Manuel wrote Jerry's screenplay. Nismal Noushad handled the film's camera work, and Rohit V S Variyath edited it. Under the financial backing of J Cinema Company, Jaison and Joyson bankrolled the movie.
