Claire Danes will next be seen in the upcoming limited series Fleishman Is in Trouble. The Emmy-winning actress will be seen sharing the screen with Jesse Eisenberg and Lizzy Caplan on the upcoming series.

According to a report in Deadine, the upcoming FX mini-series is based on the novel of the same name, written by American journalist and author Taffy Brodesser-Akner. She will also serve as writer and executive producer on the upcoming series as well. Other executive producers include Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, Susannah Grant, Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris. Dayton and Faris will also direct episodes of the show. The series will be produced by ABC Signature.

The series will revolve around the story of the titular Toby Fleishman, a recently divorced surgeon in his forties who decides to try dating apps after his split from his wife Rachel. Just as he starts to embrace single life, his wife mysteriously goes missing leaving him to look after their children. On top of his wife’s disappearance Fleishman also finds himself having to deal with an array of other problems as well. With no news of where Rachel is or when she’ll return, Fleishman is forced to take another hard look at his failed marriage to uncover clues as to what really happened to her.

Meanwhile Danes is perhaps best known for her role on the thriller series Homeland, winning two Emmy awards for her role. In addition to Fleishman Is in Trouble, the actor will also be seen in the Apple TV+ limited series The Essex Serpent, which also stars Tom Hiddleston and Frank Dillane in lead roles.
