Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 took a new turn as a character has participated on the show. Ali Asgar’s popular character Dadi is the eight confirmed contestant on the reality show. That’s right, you will see the hilariously seductive Dadi on the show.

Ali was last seen as Nani on The Kapil Sharma Show but the actor played the role of Dadi on the show’s prequel, Comedy Nights With Kapil. He brings that character back for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.

The promo released by the makers sees Dadi dance to the latest addiction of people – Liger’s song Aafat. Dadi tries twerking and ends up spanking herself in the clip released by the makers.

Aafat is a track that generally shows the romance between Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the movie Liger. Dadi, on the other hand, made the track about self-love and seduction.

Ali was last seen as Akbar in Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, which released on TV in 2020. The show can be streamed on Disney+Hotstar.

Nia Sharma, Shilpa Shinde, Niti Taylor, Amruta Khanvilkar, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Paras Kalnawat and Gashmeer Mahajani are the other confirmed contestants on the show so far. Reports have it that Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik, who was last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, will also be joining this reality show, which will be hosted by Maniesh Paul and sees Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi as judges.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 will start airing from September 3. The show will be available for viewing and streaming only on the weekends at 8 pm. The viewers can catch up on the show on Voot.
