One of the leading OTT platforms in the country, Disney+ Hotstar is coming up with an exciting Telugu web show after Parampara 2, 9 Hours and Exposed. Titled Jhansi, the series brings together several prominent faces including Anjali, Adarsh Balakrishna, Chandini Chowdary, Samyukta Hornad, Aberaam Varma among others to name a few. Marking the Telugu web debut of Anjali, the series will premiere on the streaming giant on October 27. The makers had also released the trailer recently.

In the trailer, Anjali experiences several visions and wonders if they're suggesting anything in particular. She loses distinction between her dreams and reality and is desperate to find out why. Regardless of what destiny has in store for her, she is keen to protect her family. There's a crime angle to the show too and Anjali is eager to know who her enemies are and why they're after her. The show is high on action, emotion, thrills and promises to be a feast for streaming enthusiasts and action junkies.

Jhansi is helmed by Thiru, the Tamil filmmaker known for his outings like Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai, Naan Sigappu Manithan, to name a few. The show is bankrolled by actor-cum-producer Krishna, known for Maari 2 and Kazhugu under Tribal Horse Entertainment. Mumaith Khan, Kalyan Master, Raj Arun, Sharanya too play supporting roles in the show. Arvind Kumar is the cinematographer of the show while Lewellyn Gonsalvez is the editor. 

Yannick Ben, best known for The Family Man, has choreographed the action sequences. Sricharan Pakala is the composer of Jhansi. Anjali was in the news recently for her special dance number Ra Ra Reddy from Nithiin, Krithi Shetty starrer Macherla Niyojakavargam. Tribal Horse Entertainment had earlier produced a Telugu show for ZEE5, High Priestess, through which Amala Akkineni forayed into the digital space.
