Jhansi Season 2 OTT release date: When and where to watch Anjali’s web series online

One of the most watched Telugu shows in the regional streaming space, Jhansi is returning for a second season. Jhansi, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar earlier in 2022, went onto be widely watched across the globe, despite receiving mixed reviews from critics. Directed by Thiru, the show was headlined by Anjali, Chandini Chowdary, Samyukta Hornad and Talluri Rameshwari in key roles.

After the first season ended on a cliffhanger, the show has been renewed for another season as well. While the streaming platform earlier announced that the show would release in January 2023, the release date was confirmed earlier this week. Jhansi Season 2 will land on Disney+ Hotstar on January 19. Offering a glimpse of what to expect from the season, the streamer unveiled a trailer too.

The trailer hints that Anjali, who was raised as an orphan and went through a traumatic childhood, is yet to get over her past. She is kidnapped by thugs, understands very little about the connection between her past and present but it’s clear that she has earned many enemies in her growing years. Many characters are baying for her blood but their motive is kept under wraps.

Will Anjali finally come to terms with the chaos around her? Mumaith Khan, Raj Arjun, Sharanya, Kalyan master, Chaitanya Sagiraju, Aberaam and others too play important roles. Actor-cum-producer Krishna has bankrolled the show under Tribal Horse Entertainments. The banner had earlier backed another popular Telugu show, High Priestess, starring Amala Akkineni, Kishore and others.

Anjali also worked on another show for Disney+ Hotstar recently, The Fall. The show, which has a bunch of episodes releasing periodically, garnered good responses from streaming enthusiasts. Some of her other web appearances were for Netflix’s Paava Kathaigal, Navarasa while she will also be seen in ZEE5’s series Bahishkarana shortly.
