Jhund has received positive feedback from the public, and the strong word of mouth has made this sports drama a must-see! This Amitabh Bachchan film, directed by Nagraj Manjule, continues to rise in the box office, earning Rs 2.10 crore rupees on Saturday, Day 2.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that on Day 2, Jhund improved in Mumbai and portions of Maharashtra, but the figures in several circuits, particularly in North India, fell short. For a good weekend total, the business has to multiply on Day 3. On Saturday, the film minted Rs 2.10 crore, and on Friday, Rs 1.50 crore, making Rs 3.60 crores in total business in India.

Meanwhile, as per reports in Box Office India, Jhund received roughly Rs 1.50 crore nett on Saturday, a 65 percent increase over the previous day, bringing its two-day total to Rs 2.40 crore nett, but it wasn't enough.

Due to the low first day, the film most likely had to double up. The film's greatest collections are still in Maharashtra, but even here it isn't doing that well, since the Marathi film Pawankhind's collections in Maharashtra are significantly greater despite being in its third weekend.

Based on the life of social worker Vijay Barse, Jhund depicts how a football coach brings together a group of outlaws to form a football team. His films deal with the struggle of Dalits in the face of upper-caste dominance.

Working with Bachchan may be thrilling, but did Manjule experience the strain firsthand while making the film? The filmmaker told IANS that, to be honest, he did feel the burden of working with such a towering icon of Indian cinema. Not because he was intimidated, but because it is his role as a writer to maximise the potential of his actors, and when one has Mr. Bachchan working in one film, this responsibility grows twofold.
