Jhund song Laat Maar shows the fiery side of Amitabh Bachchan and his squad

A day before Jhund’s theatrical release, the makers have unveiled its new song Laat Maar. Of course, as the title suggests, it is a song dedicated to football. Amitabh Bachchan and his squad play soccer as the song plays in the background.

Ajay and Atul have once again done a fabulous job with the song, which is simple yet something that stays back with you. The lyrics are especially powerful and scream passion.

When Laat Maar begins, you get to see a playground. Soon after, coach Vijay aka Amitabh Bachchan comes in like a refree as he tosses the coin in the air. From there on, the game begins.

You get to see Vijay not only cheer his squad but the other team too. Soon, you also get a glimpse of Sairat actress Rinku Rajguru. She plays one of the soccer players in the team.

Crooned by Sid Sriram, Laat Maar’s rap has been composed and sung by 100 RBH. Deepanshi Nagar, Shivika Rajesh, Ann Fernandes, Pallavi Shyam Sundar, Rupali Moghe, Leena Rajan, Priyanka Rawlani, Snigdha Pious, Chaitanya Shinde, Rituraj Tiwari, Chaitanya Kulkarni, Prashant Muzumdar, Pankaj Dixit, Manish Sharma, George Sebastian and Anurag Naik have been a part of the choir group.

Jhund has been helmed by Nagraj Manjule. The filmmaker had helmed Sairat. The movie’s lead actor Akash Thosar is also a part of Jhund along with Rinku.

After a long wait, Jhund is finally releasing in theatres. The movie, a biopic on NGO Slum Soccer founder Vijay Barse, will release in cinemas on March 4. The film will start streaming on Zee5 post its theatrical release.
