Raghava Lawrence credits Ajith for his acting innings
During the promotions of the film, when Raghava Lawrence was speaking about his acting career, he said that he wouldn't be in front of the camera if not for Ajith. Raghava Lawrence shot to the limelight after he grooved to the song Mahaganapathi in Ajith and Saran's Amarkalam (1999).
Reminiscing the song, Lawrence said, "I am not very close to Ajith and I don't want to lie about that. But if I am an actor today, it's because of him."
"Ajith sir could have easily danced to the whole song Mahaganapathi in Amarkalam as it was his film and he was a big star. During the initial discussions, Saran sir had said that Ajith sir would join me during the dance and that both of us will be dancing together. But I was dancing to the song alone. I asked Saran sir about it, and he said that because I danced well, Ajith wanted me to do the song on my own. The song was a massive hit. I would not have been on screen if not for Ajith nor would I have become an actor."
