Jimmy Sheirgill calls Choona director Pushpendra Nath Misra a 'psychopath' for making him do THIS on the Netflix show

Choona is the latest comedy crime series on Netflix starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Arshad Warsi, Aashim Gulati and Monika Panwar. Directed by Pushpendra Nath Misra, the recently released OTT show has garnered good reviews from the cinephiles. Recently during an interview with Netflix India, Sheirgill unveiled his experiences on the latest outing and even called the director of Choona a 'psychopath' for making him do something extraordinary.

Sheirgill's character in Choona Avinash Shukla is a big businessman and an aspiring politician. He believes in astrology more than anyone to keep his power and money intact. In a recent interview with comedian-actor Viraj Gehlani for Netflix India, the Mohabbatein actor mentioned his experiences of playing the unusual role. Talking about his belief in astrology in real life, the talented hero revealed that he believes in it and his little bit of knowledge in the field helped him play this character smoothly as well. "However, I faced a lot of troubles, especially physically because I had to wear several rings on my fingers as well as on my toes. You have no idea how big of a psychopath, our director, really is," Sheirgill added while laughing.

The makers dropped the latest fun interview with the cast of Choona on Netflix India's YouTube channel with a special caption that reads, "Today we learned, Shukla Ji loves rings but Jimmy Sheirgill doesn’t. #Choona is NOW STREAMING, only on Netflix! (Sic)."

Created, written and directed by Pushpendra Nath Misra, the heist comedy drama series is bankrolled by Flying Saucer.
