Jinn - The Pet, the 2025 Tamil fantasy drama film, which was released in theatres in May, will soon be available for streaming on OTT. The film's post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by SunNXT, and you can watch the film with your OTTplay Premium subscription from June 20 onwards.

After the release of Lal Salaam last week, SunNXT is gearing up for the OTT premiere of another film. The streaming platform on Thursday announced that the 2025 Tamil film Jinn - The Pet will premiere on June 20. Jinn - The Pet is written, directed, and produced by TR Bala in his directorial debut under the Fairy Tale Pictures banner, with Anil Kumar Reddy's AR Touring Talkies as co-producer. The film stars Mugen Rao of Bigg Boss Tamil fame, along with Bhavya Trikha as the female lead. The cast also comprises actors Bala Saravanan, Imman Annachi, Radha Ravi, Vadivukkarasi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, George Vijay, Master Shakti and others in supporting roles.
The film revolves around a man who brings home a mystical box, which contains a supernatural entity Jinn. What he once blamed for his family's ill fate, then turns out to be the saviour. The technical team consists of cinematographer Arjun Raja, editor Deepak, and music composer duo Vivek–Mervin.

SunNXT has recently acquired two Tamil films to its content catalogue. One being Rajinikanth-starrer Lal Salaam, a sports action drama featuring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth. The film is directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The other film is the 2025 sports comedy film Sumo, which is about a sumo washed ashore in Chennai, and found by a local man who aids him back home. The film features Mirchi Shiva, Priya Anand, VTV Ganesh, and Yoshinori Tashiro in the titular role, with SP Hosimin directing the film.
