Jisshu Sengupta is known to be a shining star in the Bengali entertainment industry. After working in the Bengali industry for years, Jisshu has established himself as a Pan-Indian actor with numerous characters – romantic, negative, or devotional. He rose to fame with the serial Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He worked in many films and serials and anchored several reality shows. But there was a time when he had no work. Now he is one of the busiest actors in Bengali and is working in Bollywood and South Indian movies as well. In a recent interview, Jisshu claimed that he is a fearful person.
In an interview with TV 9, Jisshu labeled himself as a timid person who did not shrink in fear. He said, “I have many fears. I fear hurting people. I always try so that no one gets hurt.” The actor claimed that he sometimes lied to not hurt people. “Many times I had to lie so that no one is hurt,” he said.
Jisshu was seen in the film Dawshom Awbotar. He will now be seen with Dev in the film Khadaan. However, he is a successful television producer as well. He and his wife Nilanjana Sengupta are producing several Bengali serials. Haragouri Pice Hotel is one of them.
