Jitendra Kumar chooses his favourite role between Panchayat and Kota Factory - can you guess his pick?

The trailer of the Amazon original series Panchayat 2 was finally released on Monday. The fans flooded the social media sites with their excitement and praises for the much-awaited show. The talented actor Jitendra Kumar is all set to be back as the Panchayat secretary of Phulera. The actor has been quite active in the digital space with multiple OTT projects such as Kota Factory. 

When asked about his thoughts on all the fame and success he's been getting for a few years, especially due to his OTT projects, the actor told Indian Express that he takes it as an opportunity. "When your project is successful and you get appreciated, you automatically feel more confident. However, I learn from all my past experiences and try to include it in my characters. I am sure you will get to see that in my next projects too," said Jitendra.

When the portal asked him from Panchayat's Abhishek Tripathi and Kota Facotory's Jeetu Bhaiyaa, which of his characters is his favourite, the actor took an intelligent way out of the dilemmatic situation and replied, "Panchayat is releasing on the 20th, so I will say Abhishek now (laughs)"

Apart from Jitendra, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik and Pooja Singh will be reprising their characters in the upcoming season of the social comedy as Manju Devi, Brij Bhushan Dubey, Vikas, Prahlad Pandey and Rinky respectively. Meanwhile, Satish Ray and Gullak fame Sunita Rajwar will be new additions to the ensemble.

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, Panchayat 2 is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from May 20.
