Jodhpur Police arrest a man who sent a death threat email to Salman Khan

The person who sent Salman Khan an email with a death threat has been taken into custody by the Jodhpur police and a sub-inspector from the Bandra Police station.

Salman Khan, a superstar who is getting ready for the release of his movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, has been in the headlines lately. A fter an email death threat last week, Mumbai Police filed a police report (FIR) against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Brar. The threat was made following the broadcast of Lawrence Bishnoi's jailhouse interview on a news channel. According to the most recent reports, a man who sent the email with the death threat has now been detained by the Jodhpur police and a sub-inspector from the Bandra Police station.

The Rajasthan Police and Mumbai Police collaborated on an operation, according to The Times of India. It was discovered that the email was sent from Jodhpur after the complaint was made by Salman's friend Prashant Gunjalkar in Bandra and the inquiry got under way, according to Ishwar Chand Pareek of the Luni police station in Jodhpur. The Jodhpur police received the information from the Mumbai Police. 

A resident of Siyago Ki Dhani in Jodhpur named Dhakad Ram Bishnoi sent the email, it was discovered during the investigation. Dhakad Ram, a 21-year-old man, was arrested and sent to Mumbai Police.

Ishwar Chand Pareek told ANI, "In the case registered in Bandra police station of threats to kill Salman Khan via email, the Mumbai police team & Luni police team in joint action caught Dhakad Ram, a resident of Luni in Jodhpur district. He was handed over to Mumbai police."

The police also revealed that he threatened to kill the father of Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala in an email. The officer stated that Dhakad Ram is also the subject of a case under the Arms Act.
