On Wednesday, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner released a joint statement on social media announcing their separation.
Here's what the statement read:
"After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly, this is a united decision, and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
After numerous tabloids and internet detectives created various speculations regarding the issues in their marriage, the situation quickly became chaotic. Additionally, there were rumors that Joe's divorce petition was brought about by their disparate lifestyles.

Amid all this, at the recent Jonas Brothers’ concert, Joe spoke about the ongoing rumours and said, “After four years of wonderful marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. It’s been a tough week. I just wanna say, look if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. Okay? Thank you everyone for your love and support. Me and my family, we love you guys.”
After four years of marriage, Joe filed for divorce from the 'Game of Thrones' actress earlier this month. Together, they have two daughters. Many people were shocked by their breakup because they appeared to be a loving couple. However, a number of reports with various accusations regarding the causes of their split have surfaced.

“She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles,” TMZ cited a source who claimed. Another report lamented the fact that Turner struggled after giving birth to their second kid and that Joe was "less than supportive" of her. The report also added that he pressurized her to attend events.
