Makers have pushed the release date two weeks ahead owing to several releases being scheduled on May 12.
In the upcoming movie Jogira Sara Ra Ra, which also stars Neha Sharma as the lead actress, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will play a humorous and eccentric role. The movie, which stars Siddiqui as Jogi Pratap Singh, is a romantic comedy that follows his journey. Despite the fact that the actor was prepared to amuse his fans in theatres this week, it appears that the film's release date has been moved from May 12 to May 26. This latest change in date was just announced on social media.
The films set for release on May 12 range from the Hollywood film Love Again, starring Priyanka Chopra, to the South Indian thriller Custody, starring Naga Chaitanya, to the Hindi film IB 71 starring Vidyut Jammwal. Due to too many theatrical releases this week, the film's release date has been moved up a few days to the last week of the month, that is, on May 26. This decision was made, according to the film's makers, because of the excessive number of theatrical releases this week.
Nawazuddin stated earlier that the movie is a break from the often shadowed characters he portrays on cinema. “While my fans love to see me playing dark characters, I enjoy being in the light. And I am confident that this time even they will enjoy the laughs with this oddball couple who are determined to not lose their hearts to each other come what may. It’s an original and refreshing subject, like a hawa ka jhonka,” he had stated.
Directed by Kushan Nandy, Jogira Sara Ra Ra also stars Mimoh Chakraborty, Zarina Wahab, Sanjay Mishra among others.
