Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities witnessed a number of iconic moments – from Rihanna performing in India for the first time to Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan dancing to Naatu Naatu together. Among these rare sightings, there was also the presence of actor John Abraham and his wife Priya Abraham, who usually prefer to stay away from these glamorous events.

Though John and Priya were not photographed by the paparazzi, Priya has now posted pictures from her time in Jamnagar, giving us a glimpse of the celebrations.

Stylish couple

Posting the pictures on her Instagram handle, Priya captioned the post with a white heart emoji. In the pictures, Priya is wearing a stunning gold embroidered off-white lehenga that she styled with a gold choker and matching gold earrings. The third picture features John in his pristine ethnic ensemble. He is seen flaunting an embroidered white sherwani that he paired with a shimmering white dhoti and kolhapuri chappals. He completed his outfit with a cool attitude and a sleek hairdo.

In another post, Priya shared pictures from the cocktail night and revealed her outfit for the night. Priya opted for a floral embellished, mesh bodycon dress, and paired it with chunky diamond earrings, a white potli bag and red lips. John complemented her all-white ensemble with an all-black outfit as he opted for a sleek, formal black shirt and styled it with black pants and shiny black shoes. Priya captioned the post with, “Stayed up past my bedtime.”

The last picture in the post showcases Rihanna on stage, dressed in a sheer green ensemble, paired with chunky gold jewellery.

Priya, an investment banker in Mumbai, tied the knot with Bollywood actor John Abraham in 2014, among friends and family.

Celebrations in Jamnagar

Anant Ambani is the youngest son of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani and Radhika Merchant is the daughter of billionaire Viren Merchant. Their pre-wedding festivities from March 1 to 3 were attended by Bollywood stars, cricketers and international celebrities.

Apart from performances by Bollywood actors, singers such as Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh, Shreya Ghoshal, Neeti Mohan, and Lucky Ali, among others, performed at the pre-wedding celebrations.
