John Cena, who is a fan favourite professional wrestler, has also had his time in Hollywood as an action star. Cena, who was a part of the F9, says he is open to the idea of returning for the tenth instalment in the Fast and the Furious franchise.

Cena is currently on a press tour to promote his upcoming HBO Max show Peacemaker and was asked by the host of Good Morning America if he would be interested in returning in another Fast and Furious movie.

Cena replied, “I know they're gearing up for production and I would love nothing more than to return to the franchise. I'm a big fan myself.

The star also added as a joke that he can say with certainty that even if he does make it to the tenth Fast and Furious movie, he won’t be dressed up like he is in Peacemaker

Cena played Jakob Toretto in F9, Dom and Mia Toretto estranged brother who is involved in a high tech international crime teaming up with criminal mastermind Cipher played by Charlize Theron.

While there was no mention of Dom’s brother in the previous movies, he starts off as a bad guy, only to be betrayed by his companions to join his brother Dom and his crew and help them out. Having the same arc as Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw, this led Cena’s character to have his doors open for a return to the franchise.

While Cena is eager to return to the high octane action franchise, the same cannot be said for another former professional wrestler and Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson. He seems to be declining his return to the franchise, following an uneasy relationship with Vin Deasel.
