While the movie made some solid gains over the weekend, John Wick: Chapter 4 will provide some relief for the box office this week. The movie isn't much of a franchise in India, and the weekend before the major movie Bholaa opens next week was looking very drab. When John Wick: Chapter 4 comes out, there will be a steady flow of people, which will be good for the exhibitors.

As per Box Office India, the movie will premiere on Thursday around 6 p.m. with paid previews, and that alone should do well since advances are already approaching Rs. 50 lakhs nett. The movie has very little franchise value because John Wick: Chapter 3 only made about Rs. 11 crore nett in 2019. Three films make up the series, which has a total budget of under Rs. 15 crore nett.

There is a catch for Hollywood movies because progress is often much faster than what is happening now. However, even if progress is slower than usual in this case, it will still do well at the box office, much better than what was expected for this series.

There are no new Hindi movies this week; just Bheed is releasing. But, given that both Mrs. Chaterjee vs. Norway and John Wick: Chapter 4 are aimed at the same demographic, neither movie stands a chance against the other.

Chad Stahelski is the director and Shay Hatten and Michael Finch are the writers of the neo-noir action thriller movie John Wick: Chapter 4.

The fourth entry in the John Wick series and the follow-up to John Wick: Chapter 3—Parabellum (2019), it features Keanu Reeves as the title character and an ensemble cast that also includes Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick in one of his final roles, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Ian McShane.
