The movie, directed by debutant Zac Harriss, also has Narain and Sharafudheen as part of the cast

Mollywood actor Joju George has lent his voice to music director Ranjin Raj’s composition again in the upcoming bilingual thriller Adrishyam. The actor, whose latest release is the Tamil anthology Putham Pudhu Kaalai: Vidhiyaadha, has sung a devotional track titled Chandrakaladharane in debutant director Zac Harriss’ Malayalam-Tamil bilingual.
The actor had earlier rendered a song in his superhit film Joseph, which also had Ranjin Raj as its composer. While Pandu Paadavarambithiloode from Joseph was a folkish number, Chandrakaladharane is an Ayyappa devotional song. The team had released the video of the song recently.
The movie, which has been titled Adrishyam in Malayalam and Yuki in Tamil, has Joju George, Narain, Sharafudheen in the lead in the Mollywood version while Kathir, Narain and cinematographer Natty play the central characters in the Kollywood film. Anandi, Pavithra Lakshmi, Athmiya Rajan, Prathap Pothen and John Vijay play the other pivotal roles in the movie, which is in its post production phase.
The film was shot simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam during the pandemic. In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Zac said, “Each story has a unique culture and geography and the story should be made keeping that into account. I believe that the apt setting for Adrishyam/Yuki is in Chennai and that storyline, being apt and acceptable for the Malayalam audience as well just happened naturally. So, we haven’t deliberately modified it to suit the bilingual framework in any way.”
The movie, which was shot in Chennai and Pondicherry, is a drama-thriller with elements of mystery. It is scripted by Pakkiaraj Ramalingam with Pushparaj Santosh being its cinematographer.
