Jolly LLB 3 box office collection day 5: Akshay Kumar-Arshad Warsi’s film sees slight growth, but still short of opening day earnings

Following a successful first weekend, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi's latest outing Jolly LLB 3 has seen a dramatic drop in its box office collections. After seeing rapid double-digit earnings during its first three days of its release, the movie ticket sales have decreased massively. Jolly LLB 3 is now even struggling to match its own opening day collection, indicating that the initial momentum has faded.

On its fifth day (September 23), the courtroom comedy drama collected Rs 6.60 crore, bringing its total collection to Rs 65.50 crore. The film registered a slight growth on Tuesday, as its first Monday collections were only around Rs 5.5 crore.

But this fifth day collection falls way short of the movie's opening day collection, which was Rs 12.5 crore. The film also performed well in its first weekend, earning Rs 41 crore.

Jolly LLB 3 had an overall Hindi occupancy of 21.12% on September 23. While the occupancy for morning shows was at 8.74%, the afternoon shows saw it rise to 19.26%, followed by the evening shows with 22.17% occupancy, and finally the night shows again registered a jump to 34.31% occupancy.

What's the plot of Jolly LLB 3

Two lawyers–Jolly Mishra and Jolly Tyagi–face off in Judge Tripathi's courtroom over a crucial farmer land-grabbing case. Their sarcastic dialogues and witty remarks keep the film engaging and entertaining. However, later on, the two Jollys decide to put their differences aside and work together to bring justice to the farmers.

Jolly LLB 3 brings together Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi as they reprise their respective Jolly characters. Other cast members include Huma Qureshi who is seen as Jolly Mishra's wife, Pushpa, and Amrita Rao as Jolly Tyagi's wife, Sandhya. Saurabh Shukla also reprised his role as Judge Tripathi. This time, the main antagonist is Gajraj Rao as the minister Haribhai Khaitan, who snatches the farmers’ land. On the other hand, Seema Biswas plays a member of the victim farmers' family, who filed the case.
