Jolly LLB 3 update - Huma Qureshi joins legal fray with Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi; details inside

Subhash Kapoor's Jolly LLB 3, a courtroom comedy-drama, has cast Huma Qureshi in the forthcoming film. In this next film, the actor will play Pushpa Pandey again from the second film, which will pit the lawyer Jolly (Arshad Warsi) from the first part (2013) against the lawyer Jolly (Akshay Kumar) from the second part (2017).

On Monday, Huma posted three photos of herself with her eyes closed on her Instagram page. In the photos, she accessorised with a pink dupatta and earrings while donning a floral-patterned white kurti. Akshay clicked the photographs.

With Jolly LLB 3, Huma reunites with Akshay after Jolly LLB 2 and Bell Bottom (2021). Moreover, she will be sharing screen space with Arshad following Dedh Ishqiya (2014).

Details on the filming of Jolly LLB 3

Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, has started filming as of this month. On Instagram, Akshay, Arshad, and Saurabh Shukla shared a lighthearted clip shot on set. Arshad starts the video by cautioning the audience against "Jagdish Tyagi, aka Jolly BA LLB Duplicate." When asked about Jolly, Akshay claims to be the "original" Jolly. The video concluded with a brief glimpse of Saurabh.

In 2017, Akshay and Huma starred in Jolly LLB 2, a spiritual successor to Jolly LLB. Arshad and Saurabh were the main actors in the first film, with Amrita Rao as the female lead.

Meanwhile, Welcome to the Jungle is the upcoming third installment in the comedy franchise, and it sees Arshad and Akshay reunite before Jolly LLB 3. The original 2007 film featured Akshay as the lead. Ahmed Khan's Welcome to the Jungle will hit theatres on December 20 of this year.

In the meantime, Farhad Samji's action comedy Bachchhan Paandey from 2022 marked Akshay and Arshad's last appearance together.
