What is Joram's story?

Joram follows the story of a man and his young child as they escape the forces seeking his death and the specters of his past.

In this suspenseful survival thriller, a heartbroken mother seeks merciless retribution, a cop unwillingly pursues them, and a father and his daughter are on the run from a system that wants them destroyed no matter what. Apart from Manoj Bajpayee, the film also stars Zeeshan Ayyub and Smita Tambe in important roles.

Manoj Bajpayee on Joram's Box Office Struggle

Joram was released in cinemas on December 8, just a week after two massive films, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal and Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur. Speaking about the same, Manoj Bajpayee, in an interview with News18 said that the team of his film knew that they had little chance of making it to the box office, as Animal and Sam Bahadur were both expensive films.

He went on to add, "But we couldn’t afford to spend that much money on our film because Joram was a different kind of a film and we could only allot a certain amount of money to promote and publicize it." Bajpayee said that they were realistic about their film's circumstances and limitations and this was the reason there was less of a need to turn a profit.
