Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi is Kalyan Ram’s new film and is quite special for multiple reasons. The emotional action drama marks the Telugu debut of Salman Khan’s younger brother, Sohail Khan, and also features Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead.

The pre-release event was held in Hyderabad the other day, and none other than the RRR star Jr NTR graced the event as the chief guest and spoke highly of the film. Jr NTR was specially there to cheer for his brother Kalyan Ram who plays the main lead in Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi.
In a very emotional tone, he said, “I miss my father very much today, but after listening to Vijayashanti mam speak, I feel my father is here somewhere with us. I have seen the film and loved it. The story, taking, and performances are top-notch. But it is the last 20 minutes that will bring tears to your eyes.”
Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi is a mother-son story with a very unique premise. The mother, played by Vijayashanti, is a ruthless cop, but her son, played by Kalyan Ram, takes the wrong path, and how their egos cross paths is the basic story of the film.
Saiee Manjrekar and Sohail Khan play key roles
This is the first time that Saiee Manjrekar has been paired with Kalyan Ram, and their chemistry is top-notch in all the promos. Pradeep Chilikuri has directed the film on a massive scale, and the makers have promoted the film aggressively, as the action drama is getting a record release on April 18, 2025.
NTR also added that his brother is the only actor who does not shy away from trying unique roles, and once again in this film, he has proved it. “My brother Kalyan is a very underrated actor and has done so well in this film, which is emotionally charged. You will see his true acting prowess in this film,” adds NTR.
Kalyan Ram, who has given a massive hit with Patas, has been going through a lull, as a few of his films flopped at the box office. So, he has pinned a lot of hopes on this film and says Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi will present him in a new avatar and bring him back into the game at any cost. Let’s see what happens.
