As love for her performance as Niloufer Qureshi in the Vikramaditya Motwane-directed Amazon Prime Video web series Jubilee continues, actress Wamiqa Gabbi has said she is quite excited to surprise her fans with her next two projects, Khufiya (on Netflix) and Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley (SonyLIV), helmed by National Award-winning filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj.

In the past, Wamiqa had worked with the director for a short film, titled Fursat, alongside Ishaan Khattar. Giving a little more insight into her upcoming projects, Wamiqa told OTTplay, “I think I am already playing some of the most interesting women on screen. Every female character I played in all these series is really a dream for any actor who is starting out like me. So, it is a dream that I am living right now. People are appreciating me for being Nilofur in Jubilee. And I am so excited to see how they get surprised to see me next in Khufiya and also in Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley. It’s beautiful to do this kind of role and I just want to stay focused and happy with that. I do not have any plan, any strategy, any expectations either. I would rather go with the flow and I know that life will take me in the right direction because I am happy from within.”

The actress gained popularity with her performances in web series like Grahan, Mai: A Mother’s Rage and the anthology Modern Love: Mumbai.

The actress is currently shooting for Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley, which also stars Priyanshu Painyuli, Naseeruddin Shah, Neena Gupta, Ratna Pathak Shah, Gulshan Grover, Lara Dutta, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Paoli Dam. Meanwhile, in Khufiya, Wamiqa will work alongside Tabu, Ali Fazal, Ashish Vidyarthi and Shataf Figar, among others.
