Jubilee: Prosenjit Chatterjee says he was waiting for the right offer for his debut on OTT

Prosenjit Chatterjee has worked in Mumbai on a number of projects. Now the veteran actor of the Bengali industry is all set to step into the digital space with Vikramaditya Motwane’s Jubilee. The show also stars Aditi Rao Haidari, Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi, and others. 

Prosenjit is often called ‘the industry of Tollywood’. He is constantly seen busy working in the Bengali film industry. Apart from his initial days in Mumbai, Prosernjit focussed primarily on his own regional industry. Around a decade ago, he was seen in Shanghai with Kalki Koechlin, Abhay Deol, and Emraan Hashmi.  

Earlier, in an interview with OTTplay, Prosenjit said, “It goes without saying that I got a lot of offers to start working on the OTT. I was waiting for the right moment. I’m glad that I chose this project,” he said.  

Prosenjit’s Jubilee is an Amazon Prime show. Along with Vikramaditya, Soumik Sen is the co-producer of the series. The series delves into the golden era of Indian film. Recently, the first look of the show was dropped. The period drama will also present a tale of love, relationships, jealousy, and betrayal. It captures the ’40s and ’50s of the Hindi film industry. 

Prosenjit is seen as a glamorous superstar. With shades, suits, and a moustache, he looks dapper.
