Jubilee, the upcoming period-drama series on Prime Video stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana and Prosenjit Chatterjee. Vikramaditya Motwane has directed the show, which focuses on the glitz and glamour of the 40s and 50s Bollywood and all the real drama behind the camera.

The official synopsis of the upcoming show reads, "Jubilee unveils the rivalries, the scandals, the drama and the dreams that defined the golden age of the Hindi film industry."

The official trailer of Jubilee showcases how evil and ruthless people can be to get what they think they deserve. One of the renowned producers of the 40s Bombay film industry tries to make a nobody, the huge superstar of Bollywood, while his superstar and vengeful wife plans to destroy his highly anticipated plan and the aspiring film star.

Meanwhile, a few character teasers introduced the roles played by the pivotal actors including Aditi and Aparshakti. The Delhi-6 actor shared a poster featuring her character Sumitra Kumari on social media. The diva took to her official Instagram handle and shared the image with a special caption that reads, "presenting superstar ‘Sumitra Kumari’ whose alluring silver screen life had everything and yet nothing that truly mattered! #JubileeOnPrime New Series, Apr 7 (sic)."

Vikramaditya Motwane has also created the show and has also written it along with Soumik Sen. The forthcoming period drama also has Ram Kapoor, Sidhant Gupta and Wamiqa Gabbi in prominent roles with Shweta Basu Prasad, Sukhmanee Lamba and Nandish Singh Sandhu as supporting characters.

Jubilee part 1 releases on April 7, while the second part of the Prime Video original series drops on April 14.
