Speaking about the series, Aparna Purohit, the head of India Originals at Prime Video, said that Jubilee honours all the performers and technicians who create this enchantment on screen as it celebrates the wonder of film. The plot chronicles the struggles and triumphs of three young protagonists as they embark on their quest to get into the movie business. The plot is chock-full of love, resentment, deceit, and passionate ambition. The brilliant art of Vikramaditya Motwane and the heartfelt music of Amit Trivedi will take viewers back to the 1940s and 1950s when Hindi movies were at their best. They are proud of Jubilee and can't wait to share it with the rest of the world.

Since he was an assistant director who was enamoured with the world of movies even when there wasn't a story to tell, Vikramaditya Motwane, the film's creator and director, said that Jubilee has been a love story for him. While the series is set in that renowned period of cinema, Jubilee is a very human story with narrative elements that will appeal to everyone, which is what first drew him to the subject. Each part of the show has been carefully researched so that it stays true to its period. The most spectacular adventure has been taken with the help of a fantastic studio, some of the greatest performers, and the best staff ever. The filmmaker has enjoyed working on this series every day, and he can't wait for people to see what they have collectively accomplished.
