Jug Jugg Jeeyo star Neetu Kapoor remembers Rishi Kapoor, recreates their iconic song Parda Hai Parda

Neetu Kapoor is set to return to the big screen with the upcoming family entertainer, Jugjugg Jeeyo co-starring Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. The yesteryear star has now recreated one of her iconic songs, Parda Hai Parda, by grooving to it. 

Kapoor is currently residing as a judge in the dance reality show, Dance Deewane Juniors, where a team performed a number to her song Parda Hai Parda. When the actor was asked to recreate the song live, she did not hesitate, and took to stage as she danced to the number. 

The makers of the show, which is telecast on Colors TV and available on VOOT Select, released a promo video of the same. The video has already gone viral, with fans gushing over Kapoor’s grace even years after the movie’s release. Many fans also remembered Rishi Kapoor, as the movie and the song featured the late actor. 

“Rishi Ji and I were at loggerheads at the time of this song’s shoot. We used to fight a lot with each other and had broken up at that time. It was a romantic song where I had to throw a rose but what was going in my mind was something else,” Kapoor said following the performance, as reported by India Today.

Neetu Kapoor’s Jugg Jugg Jeeyo, which is helmed by Raj Mehta, will see her pair up with Anil Kapoor with Varun Dhawan playing their son. The movie will revolve around the family, and a reunion, where a few sparks will fly, making way for a comedy entertainer. 

Bankrolled by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios, the movie is set to hit theatres on June 24.
