Varun Sood has been around the television scene for some time now and the VJ and actor also caught the eye in his short yet important role in Raj Mehta’s Jugjugg Jeeyo. The latest reports surrounding Sood suggests that he has been roped in to be a part of Tiger Shroff’s next. 

According to Pinkvilla, Sood has joined the cast of the action entertainer titled Screw Dheela, which has Tiger and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. The report also suggests that the actor is already on board and will play an important role in the movie, which is directed by Shashank Khaitan and backed by Karan Johar. 

There were recent reports that stated that Rashmika Mandanna will continue her Bollywood run with the actioner and soon enough, Karan announced the movie's official title through social media. ““Arriving with a solid punch of entertainment, super excited to present Tiger Shroff in #ScrewDheela, directed by Shashank Khaitan in an all new world of action!!!,” the filmmaker wrote on the post. 

The movie will go on the floors in September and the filming will take place in India and abroad according to the report. Sood, who had made a name for himself in Rodies and Splitsvilla, was last seen in Jugjugg Jeeyo. He played Prajakta Koli’s ex-boyfriend in the family entertainer, which was also backed by Karan Johar. 

While Tiger is getting ready for Screw Dheela, the actor is also awaiting the release of Vikas Bahl’s Ganapath. The actioner will see him pair up with Kriti Sanon once again, after they teamed up in Heropanti. Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-starring Akshay Kumar in the works.
