Veteran actor-director V. Ravichandran's son Vikram Ravichandran is geared up for his Sandalwood launch. He will be seen playing the lead in Trivikrama, an action entertainer, which releases on June 24 with model/actress Akanksha Sharma starring as the female lead. Akanksha, who rose to popularity for her appearance in the Badshah music video Jugnu, makes her Kannada debut with Trivikrama.

In the lead up to the release, the team has released the second single from the soundtrack which is titled Honey Bunny Feel My Love. Arjun Janya has composed this song with the very talented Sanjith Hegde lending his vocals and James director and popular lyricist Chethan Kumar penning the lyrics. An out-and-out romantic song that comprises catchy verses, vibrant visuals, and some snazzy dance moves by Vikram Ravichandran, Honey Bunny is the follow-up release to the first single Mummy Please Mummy. Written by Nagendra Prasad, Mummy Please Mummy is a quintessential Vijay Prakash track that features conversation-like lyrics and a small story within itself, wherein Vikram Ravichandran's character can be seen pleading with his mother to let him have a love marriage. The first single was released by Shiva Rajkumar.

Coming back to the film, popular Hindi TV and film actor Rohit Roy forays into Kannada cinema for the first time with Trivikrama. Rohit will be seen playing a tough cop in the film and a majority of his portions were shot in Rajasthan along with a two-day schedule in Bengaluru for a fight sequence. Trivikrama promises to be "A high voltage love story" and with the team roping in the likes of Akanksha Sharma and Rohit Roy to ensure a grand debut for Vikram Ravichandran, it would be interesting to see how the audience reacts to the film at the time of the release. Akshara Gowda, Chikkanna, Tulasi, Shivamani, Sadhu Kokila, and others too are part of the cast with S. Sahana Murthy directing the film and Somanna producing it for Gowri Enterprises.
