During her interview with The New York Times on January 25, Julia admitted to lack of intimacy with Kanye. This happened after she was asked about it and was something she addressed in memoir, Down the Drain. She did not mention about her intimacy with Kanye. When asked about it, she said, “Because there, like, wasn’t any. It wasn’t really about that.”

Julia and Kanye hit it off after New Year’s Eve in Miami. The fling was short and they ended up parting ways in mid-February. In March 2022, she revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she’s ‘still friends with’ the rapper. She called the brief connection the ‘best thing that happened to her.’ “It was like hitting a reset button. It kind of brought a spark back into my life that I had kind of forgotten about,” she spilled.
