Disney has released two new trailers of its upcoming Jungle Cruise movie, one focusing on Dwayne Johnson's character and the other on that of Emily Blunt.
To kickstart the month before the upcoming movie, Jungle Cruise' release, Disney has unveiled two new trailers of the movie. The trailers give audiences an insight into the characters played by Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt in the film. Each trailer showcases the actors speaking about their respective characters in the film and the video then moves forward with a clip focused on their characters. The Jaume Collet-Serra helmed movie was supposed to release last year, however, due to the pandemic , the movie was delayed and it will now be releasing in theatres along with Disney+ on July 30.
Set in the early 20th century, the movie will take you on an adventurous journey with Lily (Emily Blunt) and Frank (played by Dwayne Johnson) while they travel through the jungle in search of a mythical Tree of life, with extraordinary powers to cure diseases. The two new trailers showcase Johnson taking up the character of a street-smart riverboat captain Frank, while Blunt takes on the role of Dr Lily Houghton, a British scientist.
The film, based on the classic Disneyland adventure ride, also features Édgar Ramírez, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti in crucial roles. Jungle Cruise boasts of impressive VFX with the script penned by Michael Green and Glenn Ficarra & John Requa. The movie is based on the story by John Norville & Josh Goldstein and Ficarra & Requa.
