The film, which marks the Bollywood debut of American actress, Emily Shah, will have a direct-to-OTT release. The film tells the true story of a Rugby team of underprivileged children. What is Jungle Cry about?

The story of the film is about the epic win of the 12-student rugby team from the Odisha institute at the International Junior Rugby Tournament in 2007. They, who did not have passports then, got to travel to the UK for a tournament and won the game despite only a few days of training in the sport in 2007. Since the students did not have passports, they were issued temporary ones after the institute wrote to the central government. The students were also trained in spoken English and other soft skills.
