While she’s uncovering the hypocrisy each individual around her displays, she gets caught up in drama that only makes her want to spill the beans on everyone even more.

Monster (2018) - Netflix

An adaptation of Walter Dean Myers’ novel, Monster is the tale of a 17-year-old African-American honor student who is charged with felony murder. The film follows his trial and how he goes from being a successful student to a minor trapped in a legal battle that might destroy his life.

Jupiter’s Legacy (2020) - Netflix

This one is for Millarworld fans! Jupiter’s Legacy features two brothers who acquire super powers but their vision for using them differs drastically. Added to this is the mix of superhero gang’s children, who might not want to use their superpowers at all. The series is full of gripping plots and action sequences.

The Boy From Medellin (2020) - Amazon Prime Video

Matthew Heineman’s The Boy From Medellin is a biographical documentary of the Columbian reggaeton singer J Balvin. The film revolves around the political turmoil in Columbia, in the midst of which is J Balvin, embarking on his homecoming concert tour.

Mythic Quest (Season 2) - AppleTV+

American comedy series Mythic Quest features the competitiveness and ferocity of an office that consists of a team that has developed the biggest multiplayer video game of all time. The team navigates the challenges of developing the video game, and often the challenges of working together as a unit.

Milestone (2020) - Netflix

Ivan Ayr’s Milestone is a film about a bereaved trucker who is struggling in his personal and professional life - he cannot overcome his loss, is worried that younger employees will take over his job and cannot put the pieces of his life back together. Milestone is a comment on the neverending struggles of life and the feeling of being lost.

Ramyug (2021) - MX Player

Kunal Kohli’s retelling of Ramayana, Ramyug stars Vikram Singh Chauhan, Diganth Manchale and Tisca Chopra. The first season of this series puts a modern spin on an age-old tale with plenty of VFX, twists and exotic locations.

Ardha Shatabdham (2021) - Aha

This Telugu action-thriller film is the story of love and revenge. Set between the time period of 1950-2003, the film will question the essence of Indian democracy too. Naveen Chandra plays the role of a police officer in Ardha Shatabdham.

Thank You Brother! (2021) - Aha

Directed by Ramesh Raparthi, Thank You Brother! is set in the time of the lockdown, where a hotheaded youngster and a pregnant woman get trapped in an elevator. The film stars Anasuya Bharadwaj and Viraj Ashwin in lead roles.

Vitthal Teedi (Season 1) - OHO Gujarati

Directed by Abhishek Jain, Vitthal Teedi is a Gujarati web series that stars Pratik Gandhi in the lead role. The plot follows a man who is an undefeated gambler. Once he joins the big leagues of gamblers, his luck starts to wear out.

Photo-Prem (2021) - Amazon Prime Video

The plot of this Marathi film follows Maee, who realises that she doesn't have a good photograph to be displayed at her funeral. This leads to her trying to overcome her fear of the camera. Photo-Prem is a depiction of a woman who is worried that the future generations are going to forget her.

Hum Bhi Akele, Tum Bhi Akele (2021) - Disney+ Hotstar

Harish Vyas' film featuring two LGBT characters, Hum Bhi Akele, Tum Bhi Akele, is the tale of a gay man and a lesbian woman who take a roadtrip together. By the end of their journey, they form a beautiful bond of friendship.
