Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep's Kotigobba 3, that opened to a blockbuster response in theatres for Dussehra, is all set to entertain Telugu audiences as well. The film, directed by Shiva Karthik, starring Sudeep, Madonna Sebastian, Shraddha Das, Aftab Shivadasani, Ravishankar and Nawab Shah in pivotal roles, has been titled K3 Kotikokkadu in Telugu. Shreyas Sriniwaas and Devendra DK will release the Telugu version in theatres this November. Ahead of the Telugu release, the makers launched a power-packed trailer earlier today.
K3 Kotikokkadu promises to be a perfect commercial package with all the ingredients in the right measure. In terms of the plot, Interpol is on the hunt for a man named Satya, for a series of crimes. However, it's soon revealed that the perpetrator is not Satya, but his lookalike, who goes by the moniker Ghost. Satya also has a love interest (Madonna) and the two are keen to take their relationship forward. The star-studded lineup also featuring Shraddha Das, Aftab Shivadasani, Ravishankar is reasonably familiar to Telugu audiences as well. Aftab and Shraddha play Interpol officers in the film.
The trailer is loaded with action, entertainment and suspense, tailor-made for the big-screen experience. Sudeep, last seen in Chiranjeevi's periodic independence-themed drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, is certainly back with a bang in a film that Telugu audiences too are likely to enjoy. The second instalment of the Kotigobba series (Kotigobba 2), where he had paired up with Nithya Menen, was also released in Telugu as Kotikokkadu. Shekhar Chandra is the cinematographer of the film which has music by Arjun Janya and is edited by Praveen Antony.
