Kaalkoot teaser: Vijay Varma and Shweta Tripathi gear up for an intense investigative drama series

After garnering immense praise for his performance in Amazon Prime Video's Dahaad and Netflix's Lust Stories 2, Vijay Varma is back with a one-of-a-kind crime-drama series. The teaser of Kaalkoot, which also stars Shweta Tripathi, was released on July 12. The Jio Cinema show is directed by Sumit Saxena.

The latest teaser begins with Vijay having a conversation with his mother over a video call, where he gets nagged about seeing a woman's photograph, which has been sent by her family for an anticipated alliance. 

The montage further unveils him as a cop, who is under a lot of pressure from his senior officer, who occasionally criticizes him on duty. Post that, the official teaser witnesses Vijay coming around with a crucial case of his career, which comes with a lot of dilemmas for him.

Vijay took to social media to reveal his latest avatar in his upcoming outing to his fans and followers. He shared the new teaser video on his official Instagram handle with a special caption that reads, "#Kaalkoot Teaser is here! There’s a lot packed in the show and here’s a glimpse. Enjoy (sic)."

Meanwhile, the makers also dropped the official promo with a special quote that says, "One cop. One crime. Kaun hai iss jurm ka asli gunehgaar? Are you ready to find out how this story will unravel? (Sic)."

Kaalkoot, which also features Gopal Datt and Yashpal Sharma in key roles, is slated to be out on Jio Cinema on July 27.
