Kaam Chalu Hai’s new trailer was released today, featuring the leading duo of Rajpal Yadav and Giaa Manek. The ZEE5 original project will be available to stream starting April 19. Ardh director Palaash Muchhal has teamed up once again with Rajpal Yadav for a drama film. Last week, the makers dropped an intriguing poster with the official release date. And the final trailer tha was released today poignantly highlights the issue of damaged roads that lead to the loss of several lives in India.

Featuring the leading trio of Rajpal Yadav, Giaa Manek, and Kurangi Nagraj, the new trailer shows a family tragedy due to government negligence and dangerous potholes.

The trailer begins with news flashes about how potholes lead to road accidents and multiple deaths in India. It reports that nearly 10 people lose their lives every day in India as a result of these dangerous potholes. Rajpal Yadav and Giaa Manek are then seen sitting in a police station and lodging a complaint against potholes after losing their daughter to an accident.

The trailer is captivating due to the poignant narrative of a family tragedy. Rajpal Yadav shines in the role of a grieving father who is determined to change others’ fates by filling the deadly potholes himself. Saath Nibhana Saathiya's Giaa Manek, aka Gopi, stars as Rajpal’s wife. Apart from the emotionally charged story, the trailer also has several flashback scenes that depict how a happy family’s life turned to sorrow with one careless incident.

The heartwarming film reflects on the grim reality of how potholes kill more Indians than terrorism, but still they are left unattended.

Kaam Chalu Hai plot and cast

Based on a true story, the movie revolves around the heart-wrenching story of the Patil family as they deal with the grief of losing their only child. Rajpal Yadav stars as Manoj Patil, who takes matters into his own hands when the administration refuses to take responsibility for his daughter, Gudiya's, death in a road accident. Giaa Manek stars as Manoj’s wife, Radha. Child artist Kurangi Nagraj plays the role of Gudiya/Garvita Patil.
