Mammootty-Jyothika’s Kaathal - The Core is an intense drama

The trailer of Mammootty-Jyothika starrer, Kaathal - The Core, teases a compelling slow burn narrative. Directed by Jeo, the film features Mammootty in the role of Mathew Devassy, a middle-aged family man gearing up for the local panchayat election.

Making a comeback in Malayalam cinema, Jyotika portrays the character of Mathew’s wife. The trailer hints at their two-decade-long marriage, yet the couple appears far from being happy together. Notably, Jyotika, a prominent presence in the trailer, doesn’t utter any dialogue in it. The trailer promises an intense and gripping storyline by Jeo, who is known for his writing in movies like The Great Indian Kitchen.
