Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal starring Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha, Nayanthara to release on THIS date

Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal is a movie that fans are eagerly waiting for. The filmmakers have now revealed when the comedy will hit theaters. 

Taking to social media, Vignesh Shivan, who is the director and producer, revealed that the movie will hit theaters on April 28, 2022. The actor also announced that the movie will be released by Red Giant Movies, a film production and distribution company headed by actor, politician, and businessman Udhayanidhi Stalin. 

Shivan also thanked Stalin in a Twitter post, which also came with a poster for the movie. Sethupathi and Samantha also retweeted the news and also shared it on their social media handles. 

The makers recently released a short teaser for the movie, which showed a confused Sethupathi, who was confused ov er two women. The teaser, which hinted at a fun comedy, was a big hit with the fans and went on to gain over one crore views in a day. 

With Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha playing Rambo, Kanmani, and Khatija, respectively, the love triangle is bankrolled by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio along with Shivan’s Rowdy Pictures. 

Prabhu, Kala, Seema, Redin Kingsley, and Lollusabha Maaran, among others, play important characters in the movie. Former Indian international cricketer S. Sreesanth also plays an important role in the romantic comedy. 

Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. This is the third time the composer has joined hands with the director. Shivan and Anirudh previously worked on Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Thaanaa Serndha Koottam.

The makers have so far released three singles from the movie, all of which struck a chord with the fans. In particular, Rendu Kaadhal, which was released on February 14 last year, was a massive hit.
