Salman Khan has been focusing entirely on Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali since mid-May. The superstar was scheduled to take a three-day break from filming to promote Da-Bangg: The Tour Reloaded in Nepal. He will devote the time to Farhad Samji's directorial attempt now that the show has been postponed owing to municipal elections and bad weather. Khan is said to have planned a month-long non-stop itinerary in Mumbai and Telangana.
A source from the creative team claimed to Mid Day that Khan was supposed to fly to Kathmandu yesterday to play on the Da-Bangg Tour. The superstar met with Farhad and revised the dates after the performance was postponed. He'll record his scenes over the week at Mehboob Studios in Bandra before departing on June 3 for an awards event in Abu Dhabi. Farhad will continue filming with the rest of the group in Mumbai while doing his hosting responsibilities in the UAE, only to be joined by Salman by June 5. The squad will head south in mid-June after a week in the city.
In Kokapet, a vast village set has been built, on which the filmmaker will shoot two major tracks, one centering on Salman's character and his on-screen brothers, and the other on leading female lead Pooja Hegde. During the month-long run, the complete cast, including South Star Venkatesh, will be present.
The insider also added that Khan is overseeing every aspect of the film, which will be released on December 30. Anbu-Arivu planned the action sequences, while Prabhudeva is in charge of choreography.
According to the latest reports, Aayush Sharma is no longer a part of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, citing creative differences. Meanwhile, Khan has shared a glimpse of his look from the film on his social media pages. Moreover, Shehnaaz Gill also plays a pivotal role in the forthcoming outing.
