Salman Khan starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has been the talk of the tinsel town for more than a week now for all the wrong reasons. The highly anticipated movie got embroiled in controversies when it was reposted that actor Aayush Sharma walked out of the project following the creative differences with director Farhad Samji, while a rumour of the filmmaker leaving Slaman's film was also doing rounds on the internet. However, now the director has clarified the issue from his end.
Last week, the news of Farhad not coming to the sets and not directing the film was doing rounds among the movie-goers, although, now it has been established that it's all untrue.
Talking about the whole fiasco, the director has recently said in an interview with Pinkvilla that Everyone has been writing their own versions of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali but there has been no official announcement about it till now. He further mentioned, "The media is either reading my mind or just doing some sort of prediction. I truly believe, that silence is golden. I believe, ‘Toofan Ke Pehele Khamoshi Hoti Hai… And Yeh Woh Khamoshi Ka Pal Hai."
He also added that the makers will speak about the forthcoming action flick when the time is right, while currently, they all are working very very hard but he does not want to praise himself, his team or his film so soon. He further said that Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will be released in theatres by the end of this year and the team would like to leave the judgement on the audience.
Actor-singer Jassie Gill and Siddharth Nigam are the new addition to the cast after Aayush Sharma’s departure. The Salman Khan starrer also has Pooja Hegde in the lead role and Shehnaaz Gill, who will be debuting in Bollywood.
