Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey to go off air? Yesha Rughani REACTS

It has been a tough few days for Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey fans, after rumours started going around that the show might end its run soon. One of the show’s lead stars Yesha Rughani recently reacted to the rumours that her show might go off air.

According to a report in TOI, the actress denied having heard any news of the show going off air. Rughani revealed that she was in Rajkot at the moment visiting her parents, whom she had not seen in almost half a year. Opening up about her hectic work schedule, the actress said that she rarely got a weekly off while working on the show. Expressing how glad she was to visit her parents, she talked about how she was being ‘treated like a queen’ at her home.

On her character in the show, Gungun, the actress said that she used to relate to her when the series had started. Initially, Gungun was written as someone who was bold, outspoken and never shied away from doing the things she wanted. However, as the story progressed, the character found herself in a very vulnerable position, which Rughani says is unlike her. She also added that she found the storyline, of a man married to two women, hard to believe. “But a story always reflects society so somewhere it must have happened, that's why they are portraying it," added the actress.

Rughani spoke of how she wanted to expand her horizons further when it came to her career. The actress said that she wanted to be a part of a Gujarati movie or do a web series. Speaking of how she’d been a part of TV for almost five years, the actress said that she wanted to see more stories told from a man’s perspective as well.
