Since its release 22 years ago, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham by Karan Johar has been a millennial favourite family drama. Yet, this "cult's" fans are furious since they've recently come across a movie's deleted scene.

An edited version of a video from the Dharma Productions YouTube channel went viral on Twitter. It explains how Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and Anjali (Kajol) became wealthy after Yashvardhan Raichand abandoned them. Rahul is shown struggling to settle down in London in the flashback scene. There are also a few steamy scenes featuring SRK and Kajol. In their London home, they can be seen dancing together in the video, which also depicts the period she was pregnant. Perhaps in a dream sequence, it concludes with Big B accepting Kajol and the Raichands as a contented family.

Fans voiced their disappointment that the moments were cut from the final film as soon as they saw the video on social media. “This shows the struggle as an answer to the question people had how is he still so rich after being disowned”, one of them said in response to the video. Another person urged KJo to provide answers, writing in a remark, "We need answers from Karan johar."

Not only this, but Dharma Productions' YouTube channel has released additional deleted scenes from K3G. Waheeda Rehman was originally cast to play Amitabh Bachchan's mother in the film, but she had to drop out owing to unforeseen circumstances, according to Karan, who also mentions this in one of the videos. The film also featured an appearance from Abhishek Bachchan, but it had to be removed because it was already 210 minutes long.
