The French-American miniseries titled Kabul is set to make its highly anticipated OTT premiere on Lionsgate Play and will be available for the Indian audience on June 20 in both English and Hindi audio. Notably, it will also stream on OTTplay Premium, just like the other web series and movies on the platform. Set against the backdrop of the Taliban’s brutal invasion of the country, this miniseries will take you on an emotional ride as it traces different interconnected stories.
Kabul revolves around the tumultuous invasion of the country by the Taliban after the Americans and their NATO allies vow to leave Afghanistan. However, things soon turn into a dark crisis as the Taliban march on Kabul and unleash its horror while the innocent people try to flee, crowding the airport. It beautifully interweaves different stories of strength, resilience, and sacrifice as a bloody battle destroys peace.

Kabul features a star-studded ensemble cast of Shervin Alenabi, Thibault Evrard, Vassilis Kukalani, Jeanne Goursaud, Gianmarco Saurino, Valentina Cervi, and Eric Dane essaying significant roles. Jonathan Zaccaï plays a French diplomat in the series and is seen showcasing his craft in the trailer. The miniseries will include six episodes, each detailing the harrowing incidents during the evacuation.
