Kabzaa: Murali Sharma, Posani Krishna Murali join Upendra, Kichcha Sudeep, Shriya Saran’s film

Murali Sharma and Posani Krishna Murali are the latest stars to join the cast of Kabzaa. The news was announced today by the film’s director R Chandru.

The director took to his official social media handles to make the announcement, and also unveiled new posters featuring the stars. In the posters, the actors are seen donning spectacles, with intense looks on their faces. In the caption of the post, the filmmaker welcomed both the stars to the film’s team.

The upcoming film is a gangster film set in between the periods of 1940s and the 1980s, and is touted to be a tale inspired by real events. Upendra stars in the film along with Kichcha Sudeep, the latter playing a character by the name of Bhargav Bakshi. Upendra essays the role of a prominent underworld don of South India.

The upcoming period film also features Shriya Saran as one of the female leads, and Kabzaa marks the actress’ first Kannada film in almost a decade. Prakash Raj, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Kabir Duhan Singh, Nawab Shah, Pradeep Rawat, Jagapathi Babu, Danish Akhtar Saifi and Samuthirakani also feature in the film. The film, which was announced back in 2019, is also produced by Chandru under his production banner of Sri Siddheshwara Enterprises. Ravi Basrur has composed music for the film.

Meanwhile, Sharma will next be seen in Yashoda, which also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu. It is directed by Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan. Murali will be seen in the upcoming Koratala Siva directorial Acharya, which stars Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde and Kajal Aggarwal.
